HealthWaves and Newport News Shipbuilding present the 6th Annual 5K FUN Run/Walk. A family-friendly event geared towards promoting employee health and fitness awareness. This is a FUN Run and will not be officially-timed.

This event is for runners and walkers of all ages, and the race is open to employees and family members of Newport News Shipbuilding and Huntington Ingalls Industries.

THE CHALLENGE CUP

Each year, shipyard divisions compete for The Challenge Cup, which goes to the division with the most participation. The first prize goes to the division with the highest number of participants. A second prize will be awarded to the division with the highest percentage of their division signed up.
