HII has a commitment to the Armed Forces that extends well beyond the ships we build and maintain for the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. We are also very proud to employ more than 5,400 military veterans—about 15 percent of our workforce—not to mention current members of the Reserves and National Guard. In 2015, we also continued our relationship with the USO, serving as a premier sponsor of its annual gala in Washington, D.C.
