Recognition For Diversity & Inclusion

HII participates in a number of national diversity conferences annually. These events provide recruitment, recognition and development opportunities for our diverse workforce.

These events include:

  • Black Engineer of Year Awards (BEYA) STEM Global Competitiveness Conference
  • Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
  • Great Minds in STEM Hispanic Engineers National Achievement Award Conference (HENAAC)
  • Women of Color STEM Conference (WOC)
  • Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Conference (SHPE)
  • National Society of Black Engineers Convention (NSBE)

Other Recognition

HII was recognized as an industry top supporter of the historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) engineering schools at the annual BEYA Stem conference in February. HII representatives Bill Ermatinger, Edmond Hughes and Dave Belanger are pictured with the deans of 14 HBCU engineering programs.
