One of the commitments for Newport News Shipbuilding is improving safety. The goal to ensure people leave work, the same way they arrive. Phillip McCoy, a welder in surface preparation and treatment in Newport News, has taken the message of safety to a whole new level by writing "Don't Drop the Ball" as way to help keep the message of safety on everyone's minds.
