Holiday Giving

Toys for Tots

Newport News Shipbuilding employees (left to right) Chandra McCulley-Hooker, Erika Edwards, Amy Prillaman, Sonny Chambers, Christopher Sylvester, Jajuan Mathews and Rochelle Robbins were part of a shipyard effort to collect new, unwrapped toys for the Marine Toys for Tots program.

HII employees truly embody the spirit of the holidays and the adage that “it’s better to give than receive.” Our three divisions and corporate office host annual food drives all across the United States, and countless employees participate in gift-giving campaigns that brighten the holidays for those less fortunate.

Corporate Giving

HII corporate employees Sara Amman, Susie Bacon and Amy Murdock helped collect, wrap and deliver gifts for 15 children served by Newport News’ Department of Human Services.
